A Warning About "Unauthorized" Dealers
Audio-One only sells to a network of authorized dealers hand selected by our team. For any dealers NOT buying directly from Audio-One we cannot guarantee or warranty any products they sell.
Unfortunately, Audio-One products are sometimes sold by companies that are not authorized to do so. Goods sold by these unauthorized companies are not purchased from Audio-One; instead, they are acquired from a host of other sources that may be used, damaged, or even counterfeit. Due to the nature of the goods sold by unauthorized dealers and their business practices, products sold by unauthorized dealers are not entitled to Audio-One warranty coverage.
Why should you only buy from an authorized dealer?
To ensure you get the highest quality products and services offered by Audio-One, we've partnered with the best possible resellers in the audio industry. Sometimes companies or websites try to "lure" you into their store and often advertise our products, but one of the following situations usually occurs:
- Bait-and-switch: They don't actually have anything in stock and hope to sell another brand.
- Goods are purchased on a secondary "grey" market;
- Copy-cat products that are not supplied by Audio-One;
- Damaged, defective or
- Stolen goods/Used goods/Re-sold Floor Stock.
Unauthorized companies to avoid at all costs!
If the price is "too good to be true" — there's a reason for that! While this list is not exhaustive, here are some examples of websites that are not authorized dealers that claim to have new Audio-One products available. Products purchased from them have been found to be used, damaged, altered with fake serial numbers, or counterfeit...BUYER BEWARE!
How can you be sure to find an authorized dealer?
Write to us asking who the authorized dealer is in your city. Goods purchased from Un-authorized dealers are not entitled to Audio-One warranty coverage.
If you see any other websites advertising Audio-One products for sale, don’t buy from them! These are ‘bait and switch’ websites not authorized to carry our products. The site will reel you in by advertising our products that they don’t have, then they’ll try to sell you another brand often offering a lower performance. If they do have our products, it came through shady “grey market” channels and there will be NO WARRANTY. Audio-One only honours warranties on products sold through Authorized dealers.
